A 22-engineer commercial refrigeration firm replaced four point tools with Work App and rebuilt their PPM, retention and F-Gas workflows in six weeks.

Challenge
NorthStar had grown to 22 engineers running on a mix of WhatsApp, paper job sheets, a legacy scheduler and Sage. Retention claims were slipping, F-Gas records lived in three different spreadsheets, and invoices took up to three weeks to leave the office.
Solution
Rolled out Work App across scheduling, mobile job management, F-Gas register, retention tracker and auto-invoicing. Migrated 1,400 active assets in week one. Trained the field team in two half-day sessions.
Outcome
Within 90 days admin headcount was redeployed to estimating, invoice-to-cash dropped from 28 days to 9, and a back-claim of £42k in aged retention was recovered using the new tracker.
